New Surface Mount Threaded Standoffs for PC Boards
A new series of threaded standoffs which are specifically designed and packaged for use on PC Boards in the same manner as other surface mount components.
As a surface mount product, these standoffs reduce scrap and handling time while minimizing damage to a PCB that may occur while using traditional mounting products used on PCB's. The slimline design requires minimal board space. Manufactured from steel with a tin plate, these new standoffs assure easy reflow soldering for a reliable solder joint.
Threaded SMT standoffs are available in 2-56, 4-40 and 6-32 threads in lengths from 1/16" up to 3/8". Supplied in 13" tape and reel packaging with Kapton tape on top surface to ease removal, they are ideal for use with most vacuum and mechanical pick-and-place assembly systems.
Our latest miniature, screw terminal type binding posts suited for 22-15 AWG wires designed for use in high density PCB packaging.
Rated 15 Amps, these compact, low profile terminals feature easy access for horizontal wire entry and are available in a horizontal or vertical screw position facilitating a broad range of wire management and design applications.
Made of tin plated brass and a zinc plated screw, these new screw terminal binding posts are supplied assembled or unassembled. For a binding post with a horizontal orientation of the lock down screw, request Cat. No. 8734. For vertical orientation of the screw request Cat. No 8730. For a vertical orientation for the lock down screw and a wire retention contact to aid in preventing wire damage, request Cat. No. 8737. All these miniature binding post terminals are supplied with an M2.5 screw installed and captivated in the body for streamlined installation.
